John Paintsil Buys WA All Stars From Nyantakyi, Rebrands It Completely


Former Black Stars defender John Paintsil have purchased Wa All Stars football club from the embattled Ghana Football Association President Kwesi Nyantakyi.

In an attempt to bring freshness and perhaps also erase the negative image it’s former owner has left on the club amidst his unprecedented corruption scandal, Paintsil has changed the name of the club.

The new name of Wa All Stars is Stallions FC and it was announced by Paintsil through his twitter handle.

He tweeted; “The name of the club has been changed to Stallions FC. This name was changed by special resolution… with the approval of the registry of companies on 28th February, 2019. It was incorporated… as a company limited by guarantee…

Nyantakyi has been banned by FIFA relating to all football activities in and out of Ghana.

Paintsil is yet to disclose how much was All Stars was purchased.
